Change your insurance yourself – mySympany makes it possible

Need to change your personal details or update your bank account in mySympany? That’s been an option for a while. From now on you can also include and exclude accident cover in your basic insurance there too.

We’re constantly striving to improve our customer portal and our mySympany app for you. We are currently focusing on how to offer you more digital services. After the option of changing personal details, contact data and bank details, you can now make changes to your insurance: From now on you can also change your accident coverage for your basic insurance by yourself. Even before you save the change, you’ll see how your premium changes. You can see the cases in which you can include or exclude accident coverage directly in mySympany or on our page about accident insurance

And: you can also change the franchise in mySympany. However, we recommend that you wait until the premiums for 2025 are announced in the autumn, as the change is only possible as of 1 January. We’ll remind you in good time.

Digital and automated

Most of the changes you make in mySympany will be processed automatically and in many cases, you will be sent a new policy – because with some changes (as with accident coverage) your premium will change.

Please note that you might still receive invoices in which the changes are not yet included. Invoicing might have overlapped with your changes. If so, you don’t need to do anything. We’ll settle the amount that has been overpaid or underpaid automatically with your next invoice.

Contacting Sympany – safely

Do you have any questions about a change? Under “Messages”, you can write a message directly in mySympany. mySympany is the safest channel for contacting Sympany – all messages and documents are sent in encrypted form.
